Professional Summary: Darryl Bonner joined Stirling in March 2018 as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, overseeing both short- and long-term planning for the company’s growing commercial portfolio while supporting new business development across areas such as management, leasing, acquisitions, and development. Before joining Stirling, he served as Senior Vice President of Retail for Cousins Properties in Atlanta, where he led all retail leasing efforts, including securing key tenants for specialty centers, mixed-use developments, and office projects during pre-development phases. His earlier career includes various retail leasing executive roles with General Growth Properties in Atlanta, Jim Wilson & Associates in Montgomery, and Robert B. Aikens & Associates in Michigan. A Florida native, Bonner holds a bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and an MBA from Auburn University, and he is an active ICSC member with CSM, CLS, and CRX designations. He is also a frequent speaker at universities, industry events, and real estate programs and serves on Auburn University’s MRED Advisory Board.
